Thanks. This is not the small booklet owners manual that comes with it is it?
Sorry, I did link the owner's manual by mistake, the service manual is this one which did not show up for me in the search on their site because it's listed under Trail 125 instead of CT125: https://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?Make=AHC&Model=TRAI&Year=&Category=&class_2=AHC&mk=Honda+Powersports&yr=All+Years&md=Trail+125&dt=&module=&from=result&Style=helm&Sku=61K2E00&itemtype=N

It should say "2021 Trail 125A Service Manual" and Item/Part #: 61K2E00

As @AZ7000' mentions it makes many references to the common service manual, so you may want to buy that too if you end up finding the need for it.
Item/Part #: 61CSM00

I just received my service manual from Helm and it is half the thickness of my Super Cub service manual which I also purchased from them. In the CT125 manual there is an icon that states — Refer to “Basic” Service Manual for the instructions.
Things like valve adjustment instructions, wheel disassembly and inspection, fork disassembly and more… all of these are in the “Basic” book. The Super Cub service manual has all of this info in it. Why one does and not the other is a mystery. But now I need to have both books in the garage when I work on this bike!

I paired the Common Service Manual with the Trail125A Service Manual and the Common Service Manual has just about everything you can imagine in it...for other bikes, too.

Sure. It's "All about CT/Hunter CUB series," a Japanese book full of photos and history (including the origin in Boise, Idaho) of Honda's Hunter Cub series. For the CT125 it lists some of the accessories available for it, none of the accessories are very obscure though. There are ride reports for various generations of the bike on various trip types, and there are interviews (again, in Japanese) with Honda's designers and engineers talking about such things as the controversial decision to shed the Cub's leg shields, the move from carbs to EFI across the miniMotos and then pushing the performance of the EFI setup much later on the Grom, research and development on parts and their longevity, and figuring out service intervals and what parts need to be readily stocked at dealerships vs what can be ordered for best efficiency.

The most unique info in it is on the Cross Cub 50 and 110 models that we don't have in North America. They were modeled after the "Global Cub", a restyle of the Super Cub 110, and built before the CT125 to meet market demands in Japan for a more modern CT-type bike with crossover capability, modern reliability, the ability to accommodate a passenger, and an economical price. (The CC110 is ~77% the price of the CT125. The CT125 is considered a luxury moto.)

My favorite part of the book is the info and photos on the Postie bike setups, many of which have made their way back to Japan after retirement.

Funny thing about this and many other manuals I have... Sure it is most likely accurate but when I was going to pull the rear wheel on the CT-90 I went to the University of Youtube for a quick 4min class instead of looking it up in the Clymer manual. Specs and volumes sure, when I just rebuilt a samurai there was more comprehensive info and I got to watch the motor R&R, rebuilding of the front axle with cheat codes (tools that work in place of the super specialized versions) and tips and tricks. I'll never be bummed at having a factory manual but I am also youtube certified!

There are a few things where there are no Youtube videos, or the Youtube videos are not very good. Having used it for a year now, I think the CT125 specific manual is worth it because it's easy to follow and a very, very quick reference to torque values, etc. I don't think the Honda general manual is useful for this bike. If I had to buy one, I would only buy the CT125 one, and ask someone to post photos of the relevant pages from the general manual as needed. But we have digital copies of the CT125 manual which weren't available when I first bought my service manual, so nowadays I wouldn't buy either.

Arrived in today's mail. Pricey shipping and they sent the manual for the Super Cub and not the Trail that I ordered.
