Yes, correct. I discovered it's the same plug as the Grom and Monkey, all documented to be M12x1.5

Oh my god! So I guess it is a good idea to put the magnetic plug in right away!
Or not, I’m guessing there are many many of these engines doing just fine without one all over the world working harder then 99% off the folks on here would use them… Those Honda guys are pretty smart, my 1975 doesn’t have a magnetic plug and chugs along just fine 46 years later.
