I've used the 13t and it affected my abs. Light kept coming on.have to stop turn off key turn back on. Later do it again. I'm considering your 15/45 and trying that. I'm curious about a 14 /42 combo.
I have the 14/42 combo on my 2024 ct125, works well but the ABS light does come on at about 30 mph.

You can get a speedo doctor fix to correct that, as well as get accurate speed ratings. They are about $100.
Im running 13/42 and with the 3.0-17 tires its a good combo. Im probably going to drop to 2.75-17 next year when these wear out, as the 3.00 seem a little heavy.

I recently installed at (JT Sprockets) JTR269.40, 40-tooth rear sprocket. I went all the way from 39-tooth to 40-tooth 😲 Note: the 39 (OEM for JA55 models) was an "upgrade" from the stock 38 on my JA65, that I've been running for a while. I prefer not to run a smaller (13-tooth) countershaft sprocket. With the 14/40 combo, the ABS light does not come on, and the speedo reads 2-mph higher than actual (less error than the rest of my bikes). For reference, I tried the 13/39 combo and found it too low-geared for my tastes. I prefer to ride trails but need to do 45-50 MPH on the street without approaching redline to get to those trails. The stock 108-link chain fits all of these combinations, but I will get a 110-link chain just to stretch my wheelbase (currently 5 hashmarks in with the 108-link). Important to note that I'm running a Golden Boy 244 3.00-in. rear tire. Hopefully, this is the gearing "sweet spot" for me ;)

I've just worn out the original chain at 13500km and most of that has been at 13/38 (JA65). I was planning to go 14/42 (3:1) but accidently ordered a 45th rear. So got a new 15th instead of using the unworn original 14th. New chain at 113 links I think (116 - 3 outer plates). So I have 3:1 but now with slightly slower wearing combination. It feels very smooth again. This all started because I had a wierd noise under load and this turned out to be rear wheel bearings. I ordered the three new ones and seals and fitted them. Noise gone. I was always going to replace the drivetrain. 13th front cog was looking noticably hooked but not extreme, back was minor though I could pull the chain off the rear a reasonable amount. I have a 12oclocklabs speed fixer and that is the sole reason my abs light doesn't come on. Though I am going to bypass the abs fuse with a switch so I have more control on slippery stony downhills. That will bring the abs light back on I'm sure.

NIce work! I did a write-up on front abs disable switch here:

You can always go 14/45 if you would like the extra torque, what is nice is you don't have to change the chain, just adjust it tighter. Easy to swap out if you are out in the woods (can do in 5 minutes)

I just put on a 13 Tooth front sprocket today. Surprising.

Has noticeably more low end grunt, but absolutely no loss of top end.

I don't understand how that could be, but I ain't complaining.

Aaaannd.... just completed another 2 hour ride on freeway and twisties... and I have to say it actually seems FASTER top end. Hit 115 km/h briefly which is 71 mph on a flat highway section.

I think this is the perfect upgrade...

Are you reading speed from GPS or the speedometer? Because the different sprocket skews the bike's speed reading which occurs at the countershaft.

Ahhh, yep. From the speedo. But I'm seemingly keeping up with highway traffic better... the tricks of the mind!
