Smoothed the edges.

Thanks for the info guys. Hey Sieg looks like you have added some other nice mods to your bike. Is that a GPS I see mounted? Also what gas can rack did you go with? I have a Garmin Zumo 590 that I use on my other bikes and I thought about purchasing another motorcycle power cradle/cord for the CT125 so I can use on this bike too. One thing I noticed about the CT125 is the battery terminals are just the small screws and difficult to get too with the cover. So if you do not mind could you please share a few more photos of your GPS setup, mounts & wiring connection used plus photos of your gas can rack. thanks!

It's a Tusk handlebar bag. Works perfect for my tire irons, tube, air pump, some zip ties, tape and a full set of tools to fit anything on a CT.
Moose makes a fender bag if you need something larger. And Chase Harper makes an expandable fender bag too. I use that on my center rack when needed. 20221210_134502.jpg

The gas can is a Rotopax on a MotoSkills rack, I had a bunch of Rotopax mounts and containers laying around the shop already.
The GPS is on a Ram mount. A Ram ball fit perfect over the big, plugged hole in the speedo mount. Wife and I have 10 motorcycles, 2 quads and 2 SXSs and a snowmobile that we use GPSs on. Only 4 GPSs and cradles. The Ram set up is very convenient and adaptable so we don't need 15 cradles and wire harnesses, we just move them around. The power is run to it from the battery to a two wire ASE connector near the dash. Yes the wire bundle and transformer just held on with a velcro wrap is not the prettiest but it has never failed.
Here's the Ram ball to the left of the key and the ASE connector to the right.

Yes, getting to that positive terminal on the battery is a bit of a challenge. I modified a crimp on ring terminal to fit the battery so that the wire runs neatly along the stock battery cable, I also soldered it on rather than crimping it keep it neat. The negative wire just terminates to and existing bolt on the frame.
BTW while I had the battery cover off, I modified it so you can access the original fuse block without removing the cover and now you can remove the battery cover easier too. I'll probably never need to change a factory fuse, but it seemed stupid to have to remove the battery cover to do so.
The edges of hole looked a little nicer after I sanded them a little and then heated them, but you get the idea. You can see (or actually can't see) that the added positive wire for the GPS is neatly under the red terminal insulator and out of sight.
