Tank / charcoal canister overfill - vent hose re-routed

I love to overfill the living daylights out of my tank. when .2 gallons = 20 miles it’s worth every drop to me!

Just had my first (known) instance of flooding the charcoal canister during a fill up and got some stumbling afterwards.

Decided to re-route the tank vent hose so it’s now above the filler neck and can no longer actively leak while (over)filling the tank.

The hose was accessed by removing the plastic cover behind the tank, which can be done by removing the right allen screw from behind the muffler, the one 10mm head M6 in the middle and the 2 plastic push pins.

I put some edge protection rubber on the yellow circled area and drilled some holes in the molded plastic piece for zip-ties. The hose is not pinched even with the seat closed has plenty of space in this new routing.

I imagine over-filled gas could still push out the top if the bike were to be parked in the sun immediately after filling up but that’s not something I normally do
