@Mntnmike Interesting, it shows they have 3 still in stock on that seat. Please let me know how you make out.
I did notice on the seat I ordered on eBay, the price was like $110 or $120, but I put an offer for $83 and they accepted. Turns out it just shipped from Amazon and it was $79.99 on there. I don't use amazon but this stuff tends to happen on eBay orders anyway. I think the shape of the new seat is more comfortable, but only time and riding willl really be the indicator.

Yeah, I just saw that. I’m going to give it to the beginning of the week and if it still hasn’t shipped, I’ll cancel the order.

I will say some stufff shipping from overseas takes forever. I had a crash bar ordered that showed in stock. I think it took over 40 days before it shipped. So I don't think its a scam I just think they take forever to process and ship.

I think they are waiting for the cow to arrive so they can skin the hide for the seat. Wait, never mind, it’s synthetic.

I paid another one this morning for some tools purchased from an EU member state, so figured I'd share what it looks like from FedEx.
Package was delivered 1/12. Usually there's customs paperwork in a clear envelope sticker on the package, but for this shipment there was none, just the shipping label. Then just over two weeks later on 1/28 I received an email from FedEx "Import charge payment due for your FedEx shipment".
Cost of the tools before shipping and tax was €475,28 , so the duty matches the current 15% blanket tariff on EU goods + disbursement fee.
Different HS codes can have a different rate.

Ended up ordering a different one on eBay. Ill create a new thread once it comes in with initial impression, then once winter is over ill take it for a spin. I have a 600 mile, 3 day trip in mid-May so it will be a good test. It was the last one on eBay, but here is the same one on amazon:

Gas Works ISO had a video saying it was way better than stock. For $80 I figured I would take a chance. Heck, that is probably cheaper than shipping and import fees on the other one.
I just ordered this seat also. Will let everyone know how it works out.

Haven't had time to test lol and probably wont until March or April. Ill be curious how it feels for the long trip I have planned in May, 3 days 600 miles with camping at night in the woods.
Please keep us posted on import fees etc. thanks..........Russ

I ordered on eBay but had no import fees, as it shipped from somewhere in the US. Can't speak for the Amazon link and where it ships from. You could always message the seller and ask if it is shipping from within the US or not

not surprisingly i got his with a 58 dollar tariff on a set of tyga aluminum silencers from Asia. I cooked that into the 'price i was willing to pay'. I mean, not like theres a bunch of compatible silencers for roadrace sugo pipes for a jdm tzr250 being made in the us.. so what ya gonna do?

:poop:🤷‍♂️

@LiLredbike I should note that even though I used eBay, mine also shipped from Amazon. That tends to happen fairly often.

I received the new seat Friday and have installed it with no problems. No tariff. Total with shipping (from somewhere in the US) . Total with shipping was $95 and some change. I have not gotten out to ride yet due to cold wet weather. As soon as I do I will post on a seat thread.

So it took several weeks and not until I threatened to cancel the order and report to eBay, suddenly the seat would ship in two days.

FedEx has it and it is in the US. Should get either Mon or Tue. I’ll share feedback on this seat as well as tariff situation.

My seat from the Philippines arrived yesterday. No tariffs. I did a seat review in a new post.
