The bike is looking great. Do you know if the Diablo engine covers are made of black plastic, or painted black? My boots rubbed down the shine on the OEM side covers, so considering the Diablo or might just paint the OEM ones. Haven't found any decent aluminum ones yet.

Thanks! Good question... I just went and looked and I think they are painted. There is a small nick that happened before I installed them, that was an accident. If these ever shit the bed, I am going to take them off, and get the OEM covers powder coated.

What is the diameter of the pipe on the crash guards? Are they compatible with forward foot pegs?

Figured it was time to make a thread to document my bike. Haven't thought of a good name yet, but here she is.View attachment 2232View attachment 2233View attachment 2234View attachment 2236View attachment 2237View attachment 2238

Got the Shinko 244 Golden Boys installed yesterday. Absolutely love the way they look. Definitely feel different on asphalt, but nothing too crazy. I will say that with stock fender height, they were rubbing HARD on the mudflap bolts at like 25 mph+... So bad that I had to pull over halfway on the ride home to remove the mud flaps. They still seemed to even be rubbing or touching the fender elsewhere, so I have to install the riser kit later today... kinda strange considering I haven't heard of anyone having that same issue yet.View attachment 2279View attachment 2280View attachment 2281
What is the tire size of the 244 Golden Boys front and rear? I looked them up and the webpage shows several different options.

3.0 have rubbed on some bikes, not on mine. Some buy the fender riser, mine grabs rocks sometimes, I would probably just drill new holes if it ever really starts to bother me

OY allhatnocattle! I am in Sunset Valley (Southwest Austin) I would love to take a look at your bike. I just got one from Cycle Center of Denton and ordered 244 Shinko's + a big order from Bee in Thailand (bunch of unnecessary but cool looking shit). Did you install the tires yourself or did you have them put on somewhere? I am wondering about balancing them. I am a pretty big guy (270) so thinking about shocks next. Always love the farkle stage of ownership. Chris
