I stuck those stickers tonite. They are the type of sticker where when you peel off the backer and expose the adhesive there is still a thin clear film over the displayed side of the sticker. This makes them very easy to place and apply, get great results. The protective film on the display side of the sticker is what made them appear perhaps a little darker than "Glowing Red" as I noted in my previous post. In reality they are perhaps slightly lighter, or less dark, than R-354 paint. Again, You'd have to be getting really, really critical to notice or care.
I masked off the vertical edges of the OEM decal exactly. Then made a couple of "reference marks" on the masking tape. Did a test fit before peeling the backers. It all looked dead on, same dimensions for both stickers. So I peeled the backers and sent it, dry application working from one end to the other methodically to avoid getting any air trapped under. Worked perfect, and I've done plenty of huge sticker sticking in my career so this was a piece of cake.

If you are still terrible or terrified of sticking a sticker and getting only "One Chance" to get it right----you can give the adhesive side of the sticker a very light mist of Windex before applying, you can also give a very light spritz on the bodywork. The Windex will allow the sticker to be moved a little bit without any side effects or damage to the adhesive.
Once you are satisfied with your placement use a soft plastic straight edge tool to squeegee out any air bubbles or leftover Windex. Final step in the process might be a little shot of heat from a hairdryer or heat gun on the lowest setting. Too hot makes the adhesive melt and goo its way out the borders, lumpy bumpy sloppy looking.
....Or order 3 🤦‍♀️

I felt like the All White originals "looked cheap" or "low budget".
But after installing these newer model drop shadow ones........I think the original ones looked "Retro" and were kinda more cool?!?
I like it fine. I liked the Originals fine too. Give my mind eyes some time to adapt....

In my car world, back-dating is a thing - making the newer models look like older models... non-shadowed stickers, chrome exhaust, and color-coded luggage rack needed for my Cub?
