The swing arm squeak

I've had a issue with the swing arm squeaking terribly, sounded like a seagull under my seat for quite a while.
So I decided while doing outher things to try the bronze swing arm bushings I've seen others on here do.
I really wasn't sure if it would make much difference, but I can certainly say now that it does.
I wish I did this sooner. It's a overall ride improvement smoother, and less jolting on the butt meter. It looked like the rubber bushings originally installed were separating and starting to flake.
I've not heard of this before but I do have 16000 miles on the bike now, and she's a 21' model.
The parts I made myself, but I'm sure it's not much different than the one's you can buy outher then adding grease fittings.IMG20260526131500.jpgIMG20260526130512.jpgIMG20260526130532.jpgIMG20260526133053.jpg
A upgrade I think most people would be happy with.

Was literally just thinking if they had a greasable swing arm bushing for this bike this morning haha. I have the same issue, I do offroad mine a bunch and push it hard, and started noticing the more squeeking like you had. Thanks for sharing!

Oh well, it must be more common than I thought.
But I think even if you buy some that are not greasable you could always drill and tap for a grease fitting. That's all I did. However take note of where you're putting the fitting before you drill as clearances are tight.
