They say the only tools you regret are the ones you didn't buy when you had the chance, cause they are double the price now. If you see a tool on-sale at a good price buy it, you will find a use for it eventually.

After what I said about my partner not understanding my tool fixation she went and surprised me and I take it all back. This just dropped onto the door mat. Not had a chance to use it in anger but after careful inspection (and a quick Google) it does seem to be a very nicely put together piece of kit. Only thing missing is a 14mm socket IMO and that's easily rectified.
I've got some Wera spanners which I've been very happy with, even bought a couple of duplicates to keep on the Cub as part of the emergency kit.

My partner and I both have birthdays in January so we postpone them for a month and have our official birthday on the 15th of February. We pinched the idea from her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
I'd mentioned that I thought this really needed a 14mm socket to pretty much make it the perfect multi tool combo...

She was clearly listening.

I really do think she's a keeper. Buggered if I know what she's doing with me.
As a man who's been married four times I'll be the first to say I don't know anything about women obviously, however if she supports your motorcycle and tools habit I'd say she's pretty damn close to perfect, cheers bub.

Picked up the 3/8th drive torque adapter from harbor freight, since I've dedicated myself to maintaining my bike decided to give this a try, according to the torque specs Sneaky posted this adapter will cover all but a couple over 60 ft lbs. Cost was 39.99 without a coupon.

garage hoist for dealing with bikes that dont have center stands or when both wheels are off the ground, or fork seal changes, etc. just got this installed last night. has a pretty spiffy wireless remote as well.

supported by a double 2x10 supporting beam right above where it is. had to make mounts from scratch so had to break out the welder.

the bolt all the way thru to the other side of the beam with large doubled washers.

I would do this in a minute if I had a dedicated garage, maybe when the wife retires and we stop traveling. Brilliant 👏 👏

That's a great tool to have with for your upcoming adventure tour. The protective case holds up well, is compact, and the whole thing is light enough that it's not likely to rattle itself apart when carried on the bike. I have the Quinn 1/2" adapter for higher torque values. It's seen a lot of use touring on a Ducati Scrambler where regular chain maintenance requires snugging the rear axle nut up to a very high spec of 145 Nm. Useful for anything else beyond the feel of German specs (Good-n-tight).
