A few months back I noticed a listing on Google for a side car.

Well we just happened to be in Japan and we made a side trip to the Soga area of Chiba on the outskirts of Tokyo.

The owner was a super nice guy. He has a real neat fab shop. Does lots of custom work. He said he wouldn't ship one to Canada as he said it probably wouldn't pass a govt inspection if I needed one here. Plus he has to custom fit each one.

He was honored that someone would come from half away around the world to see his work.

There's a few outfits in Asian countries doing some great small-displacement sidecars. Maybe if I were 100lbs lighter, it would be an option. As it is, my Ural is slow enough

I will freely admit to being an idiot and doing a lot of dumb crap in my life, but you gotta draw the line somewhere and getting in a sidecar on a motorcycle sober or drunk is on the list for me, I don't like to ride passenger in a car with someone else driving

There's only one thing more dangerous than someone who has never ridden motorcycles riding a side car.......someone with a lot of miles on motorcycles riding a sidecar. ;) What you know on a two wheeler will put you in the ditch quickly on a sidecar.

I can’t imagine pulling my hills or driveway with someone in a sidecar.

I can not imagine pulling much of a load with our small engines. Even if the rig was made of unobtanium and no load it looks like it would be a terrific drag on the power.

I want one for my dog, just around the property, and down to road to the mailbox maybe a short hop into our one red-light town every now and again... certainly not for the open road.

If a bunch of drunk Germans can do it (WWII) we can to. Yes I'm sure a bunch of them died on them... we should have the same opportunity!
