BaldRider, Thanks for the rack photo. That is the first confirmation and is much appreciated.. That is a good explanation for why another USA dealer said the front accessories will be available from USA dealers, but not the rest of the Japan accessories.

Are these the same shocks as the 2022?
Front shocks seem to be. Rear are preload adjustable. They come set at 3 of 5. I don't know why anyone would go less than 3. They should start at 5. I haven't adjusted them yet but after 33 miles yesterday, I am definitely going to.

I heard somewhere the rear were adjustable, but now it’s confirmed. Thanks

I read a story that Honda is ending its lawn mower production rather than pursuing battery powered mowers. Buy the bikes while you can.

Honda does make battery powered electric mowers, just not in or for the USA market right now. They've supposedly replaced or are replacing their gas mower production with ATV production in NC, allowing their plant in SC to focus on SxS production rather than building both in the same plant. The Honda Trails are built in Thailand with some equipment specific to USA market requirements and emissions, I wouldn't sweat that change. It might even improve our Honda Powersports dealer network if it means they're going to have more powersports vehicles to sell.

I don't think it has anything to do with making or not making battery powered mowers. According to what I was able to find. The nonsense in Ca was a major factor in the decision. Honda is a first class business and plays the long game. They are clearly concerned that the rest of the country, given the current political climate, will follow Ca down the path of stupid.

Ya'll remember when everyone was angry about the incandescent lightbulbs? This has the same 24 hour news manufactured rage energy.

Got a call just this morning my 23 is ready. I asked for 244s and heavy duty tubes, so it will be ready next week . Them 244 are real stiff, I was not crazy about trying to mount them. I see the “ setup” involves mounting the mirrors and filling the oil, and just checking chain, etc. that would be an easy setup in anyone’s garage. Cool to have the original crate and all that.

I was about to bite the bullet and buy a slightly used one after wanting to get it for awhile but now that we have the green color in the states I think I'll wait to get that one!
I think you will like it allot. I dont have one yet but did order it too.

I noticed a recent post in the Canadian section that perhaps the first wave of 300 2023 Trail 125 deliveries to Canada is over, and at least one Canadian dealer is indicating that there won't be any more there this year. I hope that isn't true. Now, it's obvious that the first wave of deliveries to the USA is also over, with the Powerhouse dealers getting most or all of them. Neither of my two smaller local dealers got any, so the question now remains. "When will the non-Powerhouse dealers in the USA start receiving the 2023 Trail 125?" Will we have to wait months or a year to get one? Anybody have any news of recent deliveries to their smaller local dealers?

When I picked up my 2022 in early December the dealer told me he wouldn't be getting ANY 23 Trails. He said Groms would be abundanto_O

Let's hope that was just a sales pitch to finish selling the 2022s, but neither of my local dealers have 2023s on their ship list again this week. My thriftiness might have gotten the better of me this year.

Groms are definitely more abundant here this year than last year.

Has anyone here heard of any deliveries of 2023 Trails after the initial batch a few weeks ago?

They don't need a sales pitch to move Trails, most are out the door before they arrive. Any that do arrive unclaimed are gone in a couple days if not hours ;)

Hello all, from Woodstock, GA. I saw the green Trail 125 in Japan and I thought I'd like to own one. I picked up a 2023 Trail 125 today at Mountain Motorsports (with a minor discount, which surprised me). I'm anxious to accessorize it and make it my own. I would like to have a front rack like the CT models have.

Welcome! You may want to check the oil level on your new CT as there have been multiple reports of 2023 models being delivered with less oil than the minimum level on the dipstick.
