Which tool did you settle on, and did you just randomly pick something or did you have a specific reason for the one you picked? I plan to buy one as well, fairly soon.Interesting, there is a difference between the two models. The .006 is out of spec on the 23. I haven’t done mine yet, but I did buy the cool little valve adjustment tool! I only have about 1500 on it so far. I’ll probably change the oil and check valves and clutch at 2000 and get it ready for a new season of hard riding.

These are the tool part numbers Honda list for the valve tappet adjustment wrenches:
Lock nut wrench, 8 x 9mm : 07708-0030100
Valve adjusting wrench: 07708-0030400 or 07908-KE90200
You can find alternative ones that can be cheaper and easier to work with. Just make sure they're for a 9mm lock nut and a 3mm square tappet screw.
