The '23 Meter Stay was just delivered to me today. I'm not sure I'll even try to put it on for a while since the sun still sets before I get home, and it's going to be 15 degrees when I'm free to do the work this coming Saturday. Buying a house without a garage has been annoying. Hopefully I'll have an answer to how swappable this is fairly soon.

Any luck getting it on Mr. Church?

I'm in the same shape as you, just got another foot of snow and I have to move my bike partially outside to work on it so I am waiting for a few 35 to 40 degree days. Other than needing a couple washers for the 8mm holes I don't anticipate any issues, which in my experience doesn't bode well 🤔

ive dealt with webike for a long time, and with other bikes as well, they are awesome to work with.
As I've said before I have nothing but good experiences with webike and the shipping is unbelievably fast. It's funny to me that I can order a knife from Finland or a part from Japan and get it in 3 or 4 days, and things from with the conus takes weeks sometimes.

right? I ordered stuff from yambits in the uk, and it must have just timed right at the airport because it got here in 1 day. like, overnight. I didn't pay for or request, nor did they ship it overnight specific.

She goes fellas, I wish I could say it was easy but I managed, took about 2hrs because of the workspace and conditions but I got the rack and usb installed, someone with more experience and a larger workspace would go quicker. Sorry for the crappy pics the sun was directly in my face

Now that I have the oem rack I gotta have the windshield that mounts to it, so 200 later webike is shipping my new oem windshield and that's when I realized the ct125 has taken the place of the Harley Davidson in the mod department. Does anyone ride a completely stock ct125?

Took me all of 30-45 minutes to swap in the '23 Meter Stay. Can confirm that it is extremely easy. Bent the cable run a little bit so I could slip the cables in and out without having to disconnect them. Next up is to install the Front Rack and windshield. Imagine that should be a fairly quick job as well.

Sounds great, my biggest obstacle was just room to work, having to move the bike every time I dropped something etc. The front rack was straight forward just leave all bolts loose until the end and don't reuse the horn bracket the rack has one on it. My windshield has shipped from webike should have it soon. Good luck and post pics when you're done.

Didn't see your advice to leave the bolts loose until afterwards lol. Can confirm if you tighten the bottom bolts first it's very difficult to get the top bolts in. Pics below. Ignore my reflection and the messy shed.

Got the windshield installed, you can see my workspace I'm lucky to have this much and at least the bikes are out of the weather, the man I'm leasing from moved things around for me which was a nice gesture as he didn't have to.

Yo everyone. I wound up buying that OEM side box because I thought it looked perfect for my needs. Arrived today, but it's bad news. I don't believe the required side box bracket is compatible with 21/22 models. Among the changes for 2023 models, there appear to be additional bolt/mounting points on the rear rack not present on earlier models.

You have to look quite hard to even notice it; photos and even videos of the green 2023 CT125 appear to have the same rack as before. But look at the red 2023 models (with the black rack), and you'll notice they have some reinforcement just above where the tool box mounts, on the underside of the cargo rack. It appears those are used for the side box bracket., which otherwise only seems to line up with one existing hole for the tool box mount.

So yeah, don't make the quite expensive mistake I have made. Unless you're willing to drill holes into your rack, I guess.

I've made that mistake on a couple things ordering from overseas and usa, I've stopped all my impulse buying and researching the heck out of purchases now. Still mess up though occasionally. Always check return policies

That's good to know. Sorry you found out by ordering incompatible parts. Hopefully you can make it work, or wait a few months for the 2023s to starts selling in the USA and there might be someone else interested in it if you're not shipping it back.

@trailblazer It might be a Japanese regional difference for the 2023 (JA65) rear rack.

Here is the rack P/N for the Thai and Indonesian 2023 CT125 (JA65), same as it is for the 2020-2022 (JA55) model years:
81200-K2E-T00ZB for black
81200-K2E-T00ZA for glowing red (same as our 2021-2022 USA JA55 models)
81200-K2E-T00ZC for pearl organic green
Found in the Thai parts catalog for 2022 and 2023, also found in the Indonesian 2020 parts catalog
It doesn't have the reinforcement areas:

Here is the rack P/N for the Japanese 2023 (JA65) CT125 which is different:
81200-K2E-J10ZA for black
81200-K2E-J10ZB for pearl organic green
Found in the Japanese JA65 parts catalog, but not in the Japanese JA55 parts catalog which lists the same black and red part numbers as the USA, Thailand, and Indonesia catalogs.

And the same with red circles around the reinforcement areas I think you are talking about:

The bike in the Honda Canada video also shows those reinforcement areas, but their website's images have a disclaimer of "Japanese model shown" so one of the new Canadian owners would likely need to confirm if their rear rack has them or not. A site listing Canadian parts has the rack with the reinforcement areas, but I'm not sure if it's a reliable source:
https://www.pieces-honda.ca/honda-m...hassis/SIEGE-PORTE-BAGAGES/105296/F23/2/44350

Edit: Confirmed later in this thread that the Canada rear rack has the reinforcements same as the Japanese JA65s

Rocky Mountain Powersports already has the USA 2023 Trail 125 parts fiches posted and the drawing is the same as the Canada and Japan models, showing the circled red mounting points on the rear rack.

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts

I just checked with a friend in Thailand who has both the new and also the old CT125 and he confirms that both rear racks are the old style with no mounting points. Maybe obitzor or Lazy Dog Productions can confirm this.

Man, those new JA65 racks are expensive and heavy to ship, but I'll have to be buying a pair from Webike, if the USA parts fiches that are on line turn out to be wrong.

That's odd, though the Rocky Mountain ATV MC diagram for 2023 shows the mounting points, the part number is listed as 81200-K2E-T00ZB same as the Thai ones and the earlier (JA55) Japanese ones where they are missing.

dmonkey, That is very worrisome. I do see that the link to the Canada parts site, does list the correct part number for the rear rack that matches the Japan number. The J after the last dash is a good sign. For example if you change the T to a J in the part number for the rear trailing link for the JA55, you will get a trailing link already drilled and tapped for the rear pegs. I posted a question on the Canada section below for Splindif. Unfortunately the photo that Splindif posted is from the wrong side, so I asked him. His answer, while interesting, may still not apply to the USA model.
