I had decided to name the new bike "Red Rover" but some how my Wife and sister think the name to common or trite. I have never seen the name in relation to a bike or even a car. Only the lunar rover. Doesn't seem trite or stilted in the least to me. I like it! Any thoughts from you folks?

I'd say go with it. Whatever strikes you has got to be right. I went with Little Red Donkey or LRD for short. My wife knows what I mean when I say I'm going for a donkey ride.

Who cares what the ole Lady and your sister thinks. The bike has been named, can't go back now.

because some tech or previous owner butchured the assembly or maintenance with missing nuts & bolts and poorly fitted apparatus. 6 missing fasteners on the seat, fuel pump cover and battery cover! Unbelievable shoddy work!

Red Rover it is! I used to have a beloved hunting Irish Setter That I would occasionally call Red Rover. For that reason alone Red Rover works! Done and Done!

Haven't actually gotten it yet, but I'm really liking a gray one I sat on at the dealer - I'm thinking Burrito Terco (stubborn donkey) or just Terco for short... because they just slowly stubbornly keep going. Shadowfax seemed too big of a name for this little donkey, but maybe Bill would work after Samwise the hobbit's pony...

Having put mine through some trials and tribulations may I suggest Burrito Elocuente, in the spirit of Balaam's fine steed?

Yosemite National Park

The Green Burro: it doesn’t go fast but it sure can climb. This is atop Signal Peak in the Sierra Nevada; everything in the background is Yosemite National Park.
