With the weight of this bike (~259 lbs), almost anything geared toward a motorcycle or ATV should work. Be sure to factor in your own weight if you're going to walk it up. I have a "Trackside" folding aluminum single ramp that was cheap on Craigslist. Be sure to ratchet strap the ramp(s) in place so they don't slide out from under the bike while loading. For solo loading I pull up to a hill or park the truck in a ditch so the ramp has very little slope to it, gives you more control and it's less stressful loading it that way. Not applicable to your van situation, but I also drop the tailgate off its chains so the ramp goes straight to the truck bed. I get a good reminder of that most years in Sturgis, SD watching someone load their Harley into a pickup bed and the tailgate gives out under the weight of it.

I'm moving away from ramps and purchased a Moto Tote rack that fits in the 2 inch hitch receptacle I had installed on my Escape. It was just getting too dodgy getting bikes in and out of my F150
Hi, I like the looks of the Moto Tote rack. It looks like it's made better than some of the others. Are you satisfied with it? Are you able to do the entire process of loading, strapping it down and unloading it by yourself? Have you had any trouble with the loading/unloading process? Thanks.

I just grabbed one of them small harbor freight trailers, but for getting it in the van I would just go for a trifold atv ramp. Find a way to strap it to the side of the van too to keep it out of the way

I actually haven't had a chance to use it. It's been super busy at work, and I'm on the road quite a lot. My first use will probably be taking the bike to San Diego for the Scooter Cannonball in June. I do not anticipate any issues. It will ride just right on the hitch of my Maverick. It was just getting too sketchy to load motorcycles into my F-150 anymore. Not much help, I know. But life seems to always get in the way of fun. I bought it because of the construction of the rack.

Cheers,

Tony

How do you like your Maverick? Hybrid or ecoboost?

Here is my solution... If this works for you don't skimp out on the ladder.

That's a real nice set-up for loading. Makes sense to buy a good quality step ladder. I like the mirrors on your CT 125. Can you tell me where you got them? Looks like I have what appears to be the exact same Givi box on my 125. Btw, what part of Ohio are you in? I'm in SW Ohio.

I got the mirrors on Amazon, "Hoosier Garage BLACK Long Stem Motorcycle Mirrors" but last few times I looked they were not available anymore. Not missing much as while they do the job they were not great quality. I'm in C-Bus area.

Light weight trailer is the answer.

I bought these a long time ago and they do pretty well. Mine actually came with a 3rd ramp but I only use the two. They've gone up in price since I purchased them. Gives you enough room to push the bike and walk up next to it. Still not my favorite thing to do on flat ground. I always look around for a slight hill to back up against.

What I use too...wish the front wheel capture was a one man job so I don't have to fiddle with balancing the front end while tying down...
