Hey @G19Tony, I think you have the GCraft rack. I saw in another thread you are trying to mount bigger cans on it, but can you comment on if a 3L with just the can mount would work with this one?
Ha, so true! The things I've hacked together with just plate aluminum and a trip to the hardware store...I cannot answer that question, as I do not have 3ltr cans. I'm using 1 gallon Rotopax containers. You can modify anything though. That's the fun part.
Wonder how long before Honda makes a metal side gas tank like the one on the old 110s. I think they would sell a million of those.
Sorry I asked you this on another thread. So this has answered some questions. Tell me though with the GCraft bracket could you rotate the rotopax 1 gallon container on its side (spout up) and get it onto the bracket? That way it would be below the carrier and not need to be spaced out? It's doable. I used longer bolts and spacers to extend the Rotopax plate out past the luggage rack. I just modified again today with some strap metal, to reinforce the bottom of the Rotopax plate, where it moved around a little more than I liked. I think the Gcraft rack is the best of the bunch, so far.
