Aug 23, 2022 - I brought my 2022 Honda CT125 with me to our family cottage on Manitoulin Island in northern Ontario Canada. I'm still trying to figure out the video editing software, so this is mostly raw footage, except for a segment or two cut out while I was chatting with a neighbour. I may post more polished versions of this video as I learn more features of the software. The problem is that I have little time, and I don't get back to it for a month or two, by which time I've forgotten it so progress is slow. The video is intended to showcase the kinds of trails that can be found in the area, and also for me to learn about narrating while riding, testing the OSMO Action camera without an external microphone, and basically seeing how this all works. It also showcases the capabilities of the 2022 Honda CT125 Trail bike.

Was the bike bought in the States?

Sound was fine but maybe a thicker windsock over the mic for higher speeds

what tyres are you riding on?

I purchased the bike in the USA (I'm a proud Canadian but live in NYC) - I had loaded the bike into the back of the pickup truck when we went on vacation last summer.

The bike is virtually stock, including the tires. I don't think knobbys would have done much good for this gravel either. I've found the stock tires to be surprisingly effective, on-road or off. Obviously not designed for the extremes, but then neither is the bike itself. Trails, dirt, they're fine. Even mud, if there's a solid bottom, the stock tires are fine.

Agree on the microphone thing - but I didn't even have a mic at the time, I was just using the default camera mic, which was surprisingly good for what it was doing. In future, I'll be adding in an external mic and wiring it all into the helmet, etc. so that it can record better audio at road-speeds. Thank you for watching my video! I'm honoured!
