Thanks for sharing your story, great looking Vespa and sounds like a riot to ride!@Zoomy7 the CB1100 is certainly a great sounding bike!
The bike I miss most is technically a scooter, a 1977 Piaggio Vespa Rally 200. To me it was the ultimate Vespa, a pairing of classic Italian style with a "large" 2-stroke motor that made it a blast to ride and practical in the states. As the scooter jokes go, picture yourself rolling near 70 mph on 10 inch wheels in the same position as sitting on a western toilet - terrifying! I have a lot of nostalgia for other bikes I've owned and sold, but the Rally 200 is probably the only one I'd actually want to buy back at current market value if the opportunity were there.
Not mine, but a photo of a slightly older Rally 200 for reference, same white with silver stripes as mine had.

The engineering of the CB1100 just amazed me. Such a great machine and got so many looks and comments.Im not even sure where to start. lol.
I would like to find another 1st year 75CB750-F. spoke wheel, w rear disc brake. that bike made me hate K model CB750s. beyond that, dont regret selling many, not becaus ei didnt like them, was just time to move them on to somebody else.
I have a CB1100, 2014 model, that things a fucking awesome all arounder. great bike.
Wow 30 is an achievement!I’ve owned over 30 bikes best I can remember. I really liked a lot of them, some I was meh on. I do miss this one.
Thank you very much. Coming from someone like yourself who is obviously well versed in bikes of all kinds I feel humbled.that 450 is sweet. well done, ive had 2 of them, my old 69 was my favorite vs the 72
Some problems shouldn't be fixed.as said, theres a bunch more. I may have a problem... lol.
