    USA Postie Coast to Coastie

Coolest thread ever. You definitely have my attention and admiration by combining old motorcycles, the 125, looong road trip and best of all Father/Son endeavor.(y) (Oh yeah, love the title of the post too!)

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I'm still on the search for Android support. From what I can tell there just isn't a product like the Apple Air Tag for Android. Google is working on one that will be just as good...when it is released. I'll be watching for the release.

Deguello-Could you share a link for the air tags you bought.?I'm finding either Bluetooth that only work for short distance, subscription, or Apple products and I use Android. Thanks;)

    Kick starter Rubber cover/pad

Probably nobody cares but this bothered me when posted way back then. R80 has moved on. Time to set the record straight. Not a BMW. Chinese Chaing Jiang 750 from the 80's. Frame gussets by the rear plunger mounts are one giveaway. Here's a 1938 BMW. They come with a curvy blonde and...

    Quiet or Loud?

Wow, thanks so much dmonkey. Very detailed answer, You covered my questions and then some! Good of you to take the time to do that. I have a birthday coming up next month and if I order this soon it might even get here on time to be a birthday present. (y)

    Quiet or Loud?

dmonkey- Really like the look of the Outex system as well as the weight loss (and cat loss). But I'm concerned about the noise level. Dirt bike noise level is probably more than I would like. "It accepts a baffle (inline, not at the tip) and I'm running the one it came with. When I researched...

    Auxiliary rear mounted fuel tank.

This is what you are shooting for? There are threads here that have covered this before. Webike has this Takegawa "helmet holder" mount. It's used as a tool box re-locator, helmet holder or gas tank holder. You will need to buy/have a complete original CT 90/110 Buddy tank and holder. Don't...

Not bikes related, but I did a thing

Excellent, well done!(y) You have shown more respect for our country and are more knowledgeable about it than a large portion of our native population.

    Harley-Davidson Museum - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Thanks dmonkey, I enjoyed the pics and info. There are 1/2 dozen or so motorcycle related museums in the eastern part of the country I'd like to see. This is one of them.

Broke a CT125?! and YES you can tow one too! (sporty) [UPDATE]

Thanks for the followup. Sometimes you have to sneak up on these problems to catch em and by the time you figure that out it's too late and you don't know how you fixed it. ;) So, probably a loose connector(s). Hmmm. No definite answer, guess it's a wait and see thing.

Broke a CT125?! and YES you can tow one too! (sporty) [UPDATE]

Thanks for sharing. Please let us know how this turns out. Kind of alarming to hear your experience. Biggest reason for me to have this bike (which has it's drawbacks) is DEPENDABILITY. Didn't think I would be hearing of break downs already.
