    Wanting the Trail 125 but I am over the weight limit.

    I am ten pounds lighter than the bike itself. I manage to get an indicated 50-54 on flat ground. Just be ready to row through those gears on hills.

    Just a question.... as an ex r.c truck guy, could you use a thicker oil in the shocks to change the damping effect?

    It did not save me from the (correction) of using his helmet once he found the scrapes on his Goldwing helmet though .:)

    I've gone with the shoei neotec 2 modular, best of both worlds. A bit pricey, but my dad's old shoei saved me as a youth from a case of caved in face while riding into an unknown (to me) concrete vee drainage ditch in the middle of a flat field at night...

    Does it shed water? I use to use rubber coasters under my mag mount antennas on my truck, but found the degraded the paint more than they protected it .

    Yeah, it's about 1k above retail price out the door, (plus any extended warranty) plus any protective headwear (I had an old brain bucket) that cost another $900+ for a shoei modular and bluetooth combo...
