    Show me your Tail (bags)

    Here's my tail setup. Craftsman Versastack box bolted to the rack to carry the essentials and a crate stacked on top for grocery runs. So far so good.

    How hot is too hot?

    Just a guess -- the same temp gauge may work for other motors that don't have a dip stick, so you'd need to keep the old cap with measuring stick on hand for when you want to check the oil level. The Trail has a dipstick separate from the oil cap, so you shouldn't need the old cap.

    45 C = 113 F. That's hot! Not knowing anything about Alice Springs I looked up the average high temp and it is almost identical to where I am in north Texas. Alice Springs wins on the max temp though by a few degrees. There are some real scorchers down there.

    Thanks everyone for the replies. Sounds like overheating isn't a real concern unless I'm sitting in gridlock on an extremely hot day.

    No waiting list for me. I saw two pop up on the dealer website on Thursday 6/30/22, sent them and email and they said they weren't spoken for, so drove straight up there an bought one of them. The other one is still listed on their website... Cycle Center of Denton
