Due to recent negative posts about what I do and say, I'm no longer responding to any questions/comments. Sorry.

    Harbor Freight rack

Ok, I give up. I'll just sell the rack and probably the bike to make everybody happy. There isn't a decent place to ride around here, gotta go at least 40 miles through crazy Orlando traffic to get to good riding areas. Have a yard full of trailers, want to simplify things, hence no trailer...

A little circle of electrical tape over the light fixes that!

    OEM Honda front rack

I have a basket type front rack and I used this from Amazon. Almost the correct green but currently not available in that color. I painted mine to match. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081J2HFP4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Well with the short extension I have on order, the connection point will be where my hitch ball is when I'm towing my 3500# camper with approx. 350# tongue weight. That is with a slightly longer than normal ball mount. I'm thinking that the camper exerts a good bit more force than the bike...

Then I'd just leave the Jeep home and drive something else.

They will if you rewire the connector. Mine read backward, ie, 4th in 1st. The stock JA65 sensor has all positions with contacts, not just neutral. Took me awhile to do it but now my shift indicator reads correctly.

I put aux. lights on my rack as the vehicle lights were blocked a good bit. Looks like you may consider that as well.

Good solid basket. Had a good black finish on it but I wanted it to match. Hardware correct too.

    Harbor Freight rack

Just so everyone knows, I do have a 6 inch extension ordered that is rated for flat towing a vehicle behind a motorhome. AND I have reinforced the rear frame and hitch cross bar. Thanks for all of the concern.

I have a motorcycle trailer. Selling it. I have studied and researched this, with the reinforcements I have done to the frame and hitch area, I'm good. I previously ordered a shorter extension, just hasn't arrived yet.

350# tongue officially. However and this is from a friend in Jeep 392 engineering and development, the JL frame and factory hitch assembly is rated for 500 tongue and 5000# gross but is derated for the the 392 due to stability tests and also on the pre '24 due to rear axle rating. Show me the...

    Harbor Freight rack

Loaded my 125 on a Harbor Freight rack to see how it looked. Didn't tie it down much just for a look see. Will use 8 straps for taking it down the road. Does wobble a good bit even with tighteners in place. I do have to use a 12 inch extension to clear the spare. That also adds extra...

Got most everything finished up today.

Well I had an experience years ago on another bike where I hit a stump with the shifter and it bent the shift shaft requiring the cases be split and the shaft and other parts to be replaced. And I have read that really all bikes share this weakness and since the support is offered I figured it...
