testing the efie with an actual wideband

That's what I figured, I'll try to get a replacement but I'm not holding my breath they didn't seem to bothered about sending out the s238 cam with both bearings not pressed on properly.

testing the efie with an actual wideband

Hi so I primed the tensioner and no change on the sprocket marking positions for the Yuminashi adjustable one. I've got a choice of retarded by 6 degrees or similar advanced. Not sure why that is but I've put the stock sprocket on until I can figure a work around. Pic below with stock sprocket...

Thanks, I'll give that a try and report back.

testing the efie with an actual wideband

Hey there I've been out to get the adjustable sprocket dialled in at zero advance/retard to then go on and rotate the central part as you advised by 2 degrees advanced. Here's what I'm fighting, just can't get the zero mark lined up at on the engine case when I'm at TDC. I've not primed the...

testing the efie with an actual wideband

Thanks you've helped me a fair bit over past few months as I've been making mods to my bike and I appreciate it, if I lived nearby I'd buy you a beer.

testing the efie with an actual wideband

Yes its the Yuminashi one. So you install as standard, not advanced or retarded, tighten the bokt then unlock the allen screws and rotate the central part of the sprocket 2 degrees but only after priming the tensioner? I set the 2 degrees advanced out of the engine then fitted the sprocket. Only...

testing the efie with an actual wideband

I'm lining up TDC, best I can get is advanced 4 or more degrees, or retarded by similar. It seems controlled by tooth pitch.

testing the efie with an actual wideband

I've installed an adjustable cam sprocket and advanced it by 2 degrees (moved the rotatating part counter clockwise 1 tick). I've not been able to get the cutout notch on the rotating part of the sprocket to line up with the engine marker. If I move the sprocket 1 tooth either way it doesn't...

    Yuminash S238 camshaft

I've done the Yuminashi 143cc, efie, Takegawa exhaust, PCX 150 injector, opened out the air filter and the s238 cam. It runs great, just came back from a 700 mile ride around Wales in the UK with the standard cam and it ran great, now with the cam fitted the torque is really on. Sent from my...

    Yuminash S238 camshaft

Thanks that's what I did the cam makes quite a big difference it feels like a bigger bike for sure and somehow it's quietened down the exhaust popping and general noise which is a bonus. I've fitted it with the Yuminashi adjustable cam sprocket. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

    Yuminash S238 camshaft

Something strange going on. I've read plenty about CT125 being fitted with this camshaft with good results and Yuminashi sell it as being suitable but the damn thing is too long in my 2021. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk

    HONDA CT125 Big Bore Kit

Yep checked the valves and all in spec. The actual noise is a bit more tappety than the video clip. If I hold a dowel to my ear the exhaust valve area is where it seems to come from. Guess I'll just ride it. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
