What do you think of the bike now?

Hated mine until I modded it,and evidently you have to do this to whatever bike you buy. I have a 2021 model, and did a BBK 143cc changed cam and injector, exhaust, handle bar risers might fix seat issue. Seat is fine, ergonomics more likely. Bend the heel shifter out of the way,and put some Shinko...

What do you think of the bike now?

I will run mine past 45 mph in third gear with a 13 tooth front sprocket before shifting into 4th gear, unless you are on flat ground I do not believe you can do what manual indicates ,even before the break in period. Be nice to it when it is new, then you can be naughty with it after a couple of...

What do you think of the bike now?

Break in period, refer to Fortnine on YouTube. Also after, refer to Fortnine advice (The Italian Tune Up ) I bent that heal shifter so it would be out of the way,or you can just cut it off.

watched video on bbk . Ozark Garage. Keep it simple and follow Yuminashi instructions, forget about the stupid stuff. You don't need a fuel controller.

It also makes it easier to put the piston and rings in the head. before re-assembly.You have to change the exhaust, with a smoother flow from the head. And you could not figure why it did not make a HUGE improvement. Come on! Mine has a couple thousand after I did it,and it would be my...

What do you think of the bike now?

I rode my DR 200 over Mqueens gap into Shady Valley, then thru BackBone Rock into Damascus . The suspension is a little better over rocks, but I still like the Honda better. I could get up to 60 mph,and it was buzzy. With the mods I have done to the trail,it is is almost as fast, but much smoother...

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

page 2-23. I can text you a picture of page. Or ask another forum member to do it. I still do not upload, since I never took the time to learn. My phone is 252-424-2057.

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

Look for the mark on the shaft inside case. The service manual tells you to mark it with a punch before you take it off. but thankfully mine was marked at factory. Yes you have to take it apart to see it. A lift with plenty of light makes things so much easier. I might not understood whether...

    TB Cam & EFIE

Yuminashi direct. I got the cam and bbk from them. It was a 238 cam,and the bbk 143cc kit both were about 256 dollars delivered. I installed the cam before the bbk,and noticed a big difference imediatly. I had a breakdown after about 12 miles, due to the fact I did not have the tab on the cam...

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

Oh yeah. I am stumbling thru the dark, thinking , are you shitting me! Big Bang theory? It isn't possible due to the distance and time it would take. .We can't make it go fast enough, the distance is too great. Really! I believe the real challenge is how do you keep from running in to shit ? As I...

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

Best idea to get back on the bike until you stop over thinking. One of my tractors had a rubber bung holding in the hydraulic oil,and I overheated it,and it blew it out along with hot oil, It probably saved something else from blowing out. I might have had too much oil in it,but I was definitely...

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

You could use a rubber bung until you get around to it.Just file a groove in it to seat it around hole so it goes in,and where it is too big below the groove to go all the way in. Rev it ,get it hot, check and see if it leaks. Probably will last until you pull it out. GET BACK OUT THERE! Life is...

UGH! HORRIBLE screw up- stripped oil drain

I will have to check, I will look at the service manual to see what size and thread. I would re tap it. If you have to buy it,you can sell it to the next Gorilla grip that does it on the forum.Should be as easy as it was to strip it. You could find an engine shop or machine shop, but you can do...

What do you think of the bike now?

I have a KTM 390 ADV ( modded out) and a DR 200, I would rather ride the Honda for what you describe you want to use it for. Thats why if I had a do over,I would pick up a used one, then mod it.It would have to be 2021 model or before they changed the engine, 2023 I think is when that happened...
