Any more Trails make it to Canada

I have received no update from my dealer either as he has heard nothing. So I cancelled my order, got my deposit back and put it immediately on a brand-new Triumph Speed 400 which looks fantastic and the youtube riding videos from the UK where they have already arrived, look like a lot of fun...

When will the 2024's come out?

Great video, great tease. Now let's see what Honda corporate has up their sleeve for announcements in North America. I'm waiting....deposit paid in August

Any more Trails make it to Canada

What city do you live in that might be getting that many? My dealer says he has no idea and no info from Honda. I'm still waiting...

Any more Trails make it to Canada

CT's are still on backorder at my dealer - I think as it's Oct this weekend the likelihood of Honda pulling a few out of the hat for this year are next to nil. They will be on a boat sometime next March from Thailand. It's better to wait instead of having a nearly new machine sit in my iced up...

Any more Trails make it to Canada

Sort of an update on my CT that was ordered mid-Aug when the Kingston, ON dealer said they were getting a cancelled sale one in. Now they believe I will be getting a 2024 (unknown colour) whenever they come next year. I'll keep my deposit on it as I am committed, but it doesn't look like I...

Two year update on BBK here in Thailand...

On the Thai and Japanese after-market sites for CTs, there are quite a number of 143 and 181 big bore upgrade kits. Any idea which ones are best buys for a 23 CT? Mine is being delivered shortly and I really want to get it upgraded over the winter. Thanks a bunch. Really enjoy all your videos!

    Insurance

Another great reason to buy a CT. My current provider is TD and they just quoted $325 for full coverage for the Trail that I'm buying in ON next month. I'm ecstatic - that's the lowest I've ever paid.

Any more Trails make it to Canada

My dealer in Kingston, ON has just confirmed they are getting another one in from a cancelled sale. No VIN yet but I've put a deposit down and it's mine. Hopefully, early in Sept

Any more Trails make it to Canada

I read the Super Cub doesn't have a kick starter, but not sure whether anything else is different. No kick starter is not a dealbreaker for me but would be nice.

    Shift pattern Canada

No one here is talking about the US model being the updated one with higher compression and different bore and stroke. It also apparently weighs almost 5 lb less. That's why I'm putting down a deposit for a 2024, and also hoping for green or brown to be imported into Canada. I've had 3...

    Insurance

TD Insurance has been my go-to bike insurance for years. Best prices and insure all models. But after 42 years of riding, I shudder to think how much I've spent on insurance and never had a claim.

2023 Honda Trail125 ABS makes its Canadian Debut

My comment about $1000 is related to what I think the value of the bike is to me personally. A drive-away price of $5500 would make me a lot happier about the deal - paying $6420 is into the area where I will really have to think hard about it before committing. But that's probably standard...

2023 Honda Trail125 ABS makes its Canadian Debut

I live in Kingston, ON and have had a RE Himalayan for 3 years. It was just under $6400 plus $799 freight and prep and $1100 HST from a Rockland, ON dealer with another $1300 for OEM aluminum panniers and rack, crash bar, hand guards and fork brace. But it can cruise at 115-120 kph all day if...

2023 Honda Trail125 ABS makes its Canadian Debut

Having learned how to ride in 1968 on a CT-70 this new version caught my eye as soon as it came out in Asia. Now that it is finally going to be available in Canada, I'm really excited. Not excited, however, by Honda gouging us for $6420 including taxes and fees. It seems awfully high for a...
