Bought a used CT125 (300 miles on it) just before Christmas and knew I would make changes, read through a lot and for performance modifications determined an aftermarket exhaust, PCX150 injector, Eagle Research EFIE, and cam would be the start. Added a Delta exhaust (Webike), was one of the less expensive and not much louder than stock, then added the EFIE and injector, picked up 5mph on flat ground, than Kitaco improved mid-range cam, no impact on topend but stronger in the middle and able to increase speed going up hill. The expected results from reading what M in SC posted and actual results align, have to say that isn't always the case and am thankful for the well documented mods. Saved a lot of time & money. Went a bit different route on suspension, used BBR fork springs and some Amazon aluminum bodied shocks, much improved ride & handling. Unlike most I'm removing weight and making more road use improvements. The aluminum rims arrived today and the new hubs should ship by the end of the week, will send them off for a wheel build. Will be using Michelin Pilot tires with the new wheels. This will just be another fun bike, I have a Z125 and wanted something a bit larger. Wanting something similar to my old XR100 for the street
With M in SC sharing is experiences he has been a big help and I greatly appreciate. Might add a BBK in the future but probably be months away. Have to install the BBK, head, cam, and intake on the Z125 in the next few weeks and hopefully the BST wheels are on the way from South Africa, ordered those in October. Shouldn't complain about that, took 6+ months for Dymags for the SV650 but that was during Covid.
