Upgraded mirrors

I usually change the mirrors on all of my bikes right away but I’m going to keep the stockers for now, no real issues with them.

Would these do the job? I've also read issues with thread compatibility..

Looks like the same item. Just a bit of a price increase. I think they'll work.

Since I am not much of a "chrome" guy, I replaced my mirrors with a set of XR650L mirrors which are black. The bonus is that the XR650L mirrors has a rubber mirror mount to reduce vibration (not that there is much anyways).

An observation I made today that may have been more immediately obvious to some others is that because the right mirror mount is offset on the front brake master cylinder assembly, it can be better adjusted for seeing behind you. I have my CT125 mirrors adjusted so that the left mirror shows left behind, right mirror shows center behind and right behind. For anyone struggling with seeing their left shoulder more than their right, I'd recommend giving that adjustment a free try to see if it suits you before buying mirror extenders, which may still be necessary for taller riders.

I think every other motorcycle I've owned has had both factory mirrors mounted centered on the handlebar, or at least in symmetrical position to each other. So I was used to having left & partial center view in the left mirror, right & partial center view in the right mirror. Both mirrors combined give a full rear view with minimal overlap.

I noticed that as well, but for a different reason - if you're attaching pogies that are generic fit, they'll fit the right side better than the left, as usually it goes around part of the mirror.

I picked up these and have had no issues with them, I like the look and the price is cheap.

You definitely don't have to spend a fortune. Anything that gives you better view is a win

I installed a set of Doubletake mirrors on my 2023 last weekend and they look great! A little lower than the stock mirrors but the field of view is phenomenal and I love that I can adjust them however I want without needing any tools.

They’re a little spendy at $145 for the pair but totally worth it considering how much better they are in terms of both look and function.

I have Doubletake mirrors on ADV moto , great , 200 CAD.$$$$
I found that other mirrors are also available. I haven’t tried them yet, I’m worried that the DRC one is too short. 1/5 price.
