    Battery terminal bolt length

Any idea what length you got in the end? I will order some online so not in a position to walk in and check them out. So if the original has 9mm of thread could I assume 12mm would work and still fit ( not bind on the battery and still tighten?). Glad to see this thread as I couldn’t get the...

    Shift Spline Diameter Size

You need to drop the entire foot peg bracket. Quite a straight forward process.

    Trail tyres

Any chance of a photo? Interested if they look more serious than stock!

    Checking oil

I don’t know what others have noticed but when you put the dip stick back in and pull it out oil shows mostly on one side but not much on the other. I just drain it and put 700mls ( yes I’m metric😀)

    Shift support installed

I fitted the HR one and it fitted perfectly. Didn’t need to force it. HR one has a sleeve then roller bearing.

    Greetings from Down under

Arrh so you are one of those conspiracy theorists? You think the world is round right? Of course those of us in the know realize the world is flat. So no not upside down just a little further South😊

    Reserve Fuel container options.

The auxiliary tank is a genuine Honda part from a CT90 and 110. They have been discontinued for years. I have tried for the last few months to find one without luck. So turned to Japan. I got a Japanese colleague to bid on it on a Japanese yahoo auction. It was in Japanese hence needing help...

    Reserve Fuel container options.

Well I bite the bullet last night and bought a new ( old stock) auxiliary fuel tank and retaining bracket for my CT 125. I’ve looked at all options and just thought the old CT 110 Axillary tanks look the part. Mini moto are making a bracket to fit this tank and bracket directly to the CT125. I...

    I got me some knobbies!

This is the option I will run with. No ABS issues then. How do they perform in the road?

    Who’s the dipstick😆

    Shift support installed

I installed the shift support today. I was a little sceptical this would make a lot of difference. But I was wrong. It really makes the gear shift crisp. Seems like the shifters location it’s self is right out on the end of the shaft. ( actually overhangs the end of the shift shaft) You have to...

    Speedometer Correction - Trail 125

Hi Spydie, are you saying that you can change the rear sprocket and no ABS light issue will arise? Only if the front one is changed will it affect the abs light? I would like to gear mine down a little but don’t want the abs issue. Appreciate your clarification on this.

Trail125 Gold Plug Magnetic Oil Drain Plug 601 mile crud reveal

Well I put a magnetised drain plug in before started it from new. I have done 800km and done four oil changes. I never had that much crap on my first change ( actually very little and all fine). Subsequence changes very little and last one virtually none. @Finding Neutral did you find second gear😀

H2C front carrier/headlight guard fitment, any one else have issues? Or try them yet?

Hi there, I just fitted up the same H2C rack and headlight protector. I found all the hardware and bits fitted perfectly. Maybe the paint was thicker on location where the spacers went on yours? I’m really interested though in your tyre size. Have you gone 275 x 17 or 3.00 x 17? If you did go...

    Show me your Tail (bags)

This is working for me for smaller trips. I have a larger Drybag for over nights. Fits a helmet as well.
