    Trail 125 battery cover.

There is a rectangular relay box that snaps into the cover. I am unable to snap it back in as the wires attached to it are short.

    Trail 125 battery cover.

I just spent 3 hours putting a new battery in my Trail 125. I finally gave up trying to get the inner battery cover on. It sticks up and I couldn’t get the plastic outer cover over it. I said screw it and left the black inner cover off. Think I will have any problems?

What do you think of the bike now?

I got mine in February and rode it a few times, once at -10. That was chilly. I now use it everyday to do farm chores and checking out logging sites. My other ride

My other bike is an XT 250, while my wife has a TW 200, both Yamahas. The TW we will keep until we die. Both of us are in our mid seventies, and I think that the Trail 125 is a bike I can ride until they plant me.

    Bought one today

We only have a few inches of snow, so I took it to flag some maples for sugaring next Spring. I plan to get another set of tires eventually and spike them up. The bike with its automatic tranny wasn’t bad in a couple of inches of snow on my wood lot road. These things are an absolute blast to...

    Bought one today

I live up in the mountains of Northern NH near the border. I own a Yamaha XT 250 and love it. This Trail 125 will be my work bike on our farm. We also own a place in Newfoundland. It will be my fishing buggy. My wife wants one now so it looks like I will have to go back to the dealer as he has...
