Does Running 3.0s front/back solve ABS light flashing issue w/sprocket change??

If you're a programmer, you can probably work out something using an 8266 chip and some basic electrical circuitry. But a little black sticker to go over the ABS light and hide it, and knowing your bike doesn't have ABS is probably the cheaper, easier, safer option.

Does Running 3.0s front/back solve ABS light flashing issue w/sprocket change??

That doesn't make sense to me. The ABS light triggering is a difference in rotational speed greater than expected between the front and rear wheels. In a perfect world it is expecting that you're going to have front wheel spinning at the same rate as back wheel. If you change your rear sprocket...

    Fitting a 3.00x17 tire

I thought most people flip the horn mount, not remove it completely. But I liked the second video, nice job.

    Aerostitch Gascard (CT125 edition)

Links: The OG 3D CAD model if you want to download it (+ instructions on how to mod it for a different bike's chain sag) I have a real problem with vapor recovery nozzles in my state combined with the CT125. It's not so bad when it's dry, but when it's wet it's harder to hold those back, pump...

    Tires Megathread

Updated. I noted the T10210 tires were the F/R TT set, and if you went into the F, R, TL, TT, the load rating actually changes for the rear only, front only tires, and they have a different part number. So getting a F+R pair instead of 2x F/R tires would actually be a lower rating. That was...

The end of an era: wing walking flights in the USA

Breitling Wingwalkers. I looked into them at one point. They were advertising positions for people who were no more than... I think it was 160 lbs. A weight that I would only achieve through starvation, muscle loss and potentially amputation. All of their wingwalkers were quite short too, which...

The end of an era: wing walking flights in the USA

Ref: https://www.seattletimes.com/business/faa-halts-sequim-wing-walking-flights-revokes-owners-pilot-license/ Have you ever heard of an idea and thought, "I better do that before they make it illegal?" For me, it was wing walking. You know, those old barnstormers and daredevils of old, playing...

How many 16g CO₂ Cartridges does it take to inflate a Honda CT125 tyre?

Instinctively, based on MTB tires (because these are the same width as MTB tires but a smaller diameter), I would have said "2, maybe a shade more, but 2 for what I run my tires at". From a math perspective, I'd have guessed 2 as well. PV=nRT, the ideal gas law. nRT is constant if comparing...

Oh, well, then, that's an easy problem to solve.

    Placeholder: 1k mile/24hour run

The Garmin thing is interesting. Typically Garmin is pretty good about intermittent power supplies, but the iPhone is not. One thing I noticed with the power delivery is that the USB to headlight mod does not provide a fairly constant level of power; under specific circumstances the power can...

"85 MPH" , I find that a bit hard to believe ... And some bird watching , I'm a bit of a Twitcher ... I love this little Honda .😀

😂 the OPMID has a "maximum values" setting on it. No way I'm taking that photo while my flux capacitor is sparking. Much safer to use the max values setting later..

Look, all I gotta say is that full tuck, downhill, drafting a truck on the freeway and seeing god in the process, this is what I saw on my speedometer.

    Does anyone own these boots?

Saw a guy riding with these on Sunday. They were slightly higher than ankle, which means clearing all the exterior damage my Motorrad boots have, but also not quite being enough for me to want to buy them myself. They seemed high enough that you wouldn't get too much sand et al in them if you...

Dropped the bike on suicide Ridge.

The good thing about the bike is it's pretty easy to pick up. Sounds like no damage done. When are you going to try again?

#2425 doing maintenance, probably like an idiot

Odometer: 13,604 mi Bike feels like several items are all going to hit at the same time and are worth doing the next time it's sunny, dry and/or I have the opportunity to. I'm currently working on grouping them together to more effectively tackle them. Engine: Valve check / adjust Replaced...

    Battery and tender recommendations?

Bosch is notorious for 1) having pretty good QC on both the chargers and batteries but 2) also being completely unhelpful if you want to mod or otherwise repair their gear. Like the Bosch batteries are not the kind that typically have fire issues; they have good chargers, good BMS's, good...

    Tires Megathread

I'll update the megathread first post when I get home, thanks for that @dmonkey. Regarding the new HF308's, when I hear "more puncture resistant" there's almost always a tradeoff. With bicycles you're often trading off grip (dry, wet, cold, dirt being separate categories there), longevity...
