Anybody swap out the Factory Chain when the bike is new?

WD40 is great for cleaning a chain. Have to follow it up with something to lubricate it though.

[USA] American Honda Confirms Honda Trail 125 return for 2023

Here in south eastern NH I see them pretty regularly (not just in my garage). Besides a ton of Ruckuses (Rucki?), there’s a lot of Groms and a fair amount of Monkeys. I’ve only seen one other Trail besides mine and no Cubs.

Wanting the Trail 125 but I am over the weight limit.

I’m 320 with my riding gear. The Trail is fine. I dropped a tooth in the front and gained acceleration performance and top speed because it can pull a higher RPM. I will upgrade the suspension at some point, but even that is fine although it will bottom out on potholes at speed and large rocks.

    Manual Clutch Conversion?

I own the Monkey and TW, neither are similar. The Trail is unique with the step through style, big rack, upright seating, center stand, and looking the way it does. Price mark-ups

Here in NH I paid $4600 OTD about 3 weeks ago. Every dealer (5 different ones) I called or emailed in MA, ME and NH had one in stock and other than one was selling it at MSRP. Went with the closest to me.

    Sightings thread

It’s easy to go overboard. Mine has upgraded suspension, carb, pegs and headlight, although still in original housing. It’s like riding a CT125 with enough power to do highway runs.

    Sightings thread

There's a couple bikes I've been watching for the last few years because I wanted them, the Trail 125 and TW200. Both are unicorns, it seems. TW sightings have been rare, since I started paying attention I've spotted 2 parked in front of a restaurant last year, and another 2-3 times around town...

[USA] American Honda Confirms Honda Trail 125 return for 2023

My 23 I picked up on Wednesday had the oil level right at the bottom of the range. I brought it up, and am going through the bike now, it feels like the steering bearings need to be tightened as well. If anyone is looking there are a bunch at dealers in MA NH and ME. I sent emails out Wednesday...
