Anomalies in the 600mi/1000km service

Anyone find anything strange in the first service? Valves out? Anything need adjusting? Anything major?
Have changed the oil a few times and I keep an eye on everything in general. Thinking I won’t take it to the dealer. I’m in the country and it’d be a hassle.
Is it worth checking the valves this early?
Mine didn’t come with any booklets but from what I can gather is just a check over, valves and oil right?
Cheers for any input
:)

The Owner's Manual lists the maintenance schedule: https://cdn.powersports.honda.com/documentum/MWOM/ml.remawmom.2021_31k2ea00_trail_125.pdf

600 mi includes replacing the engine oil and inspecting the clutch system, valve clearances aren't until the next maintenance but only take a few minutes to check with how accessible they are.

At 600 mi both the intake and exhaust valve on mine had too much clearance, not enough to chatter though. They could have been that way since assembly.

I received two books, two keys with my bike from the dealership, and I think one of the books is optional reading - "how to ride a motorcycle" sort of stuff. The other one was the owner's manual. If you didn't get one, ask them to mail it out to you, or just before you go in for a service ask them to get you one. There's a lot in there that's actually kind of important to know, like the minimum fuel rating and not to tow the bike.

keep in mind, valve clearances usually tighten up over time as the valve settles & stretches. its worth checking but TBH, probably fine. i would just change oil, adjust clutch mechanism, and look at chain tension. maybe check valve clearances but prob not necessary.

Thanks so much for the input guys.

Forgot about the clutch system but that’s and easy one.

Really do appreciate the replies.

Thought the novelty of the battle scooter would have worn off by now but the smiles just keep coming. We live on a large bush properly with a beach at the end and CT is perfect for general property maintenance, visiting neighbours, hooning around with my 6 year old daughter and longer camping trips solo.

Anyone remember Battletoads?
