Anybody else noticed this?

I don’t know if they ran out of regular washers or if this is by design, but the one on the bottom closest to the camera looks almost like a crush washer.

its by design. its a sealing washer for an oil passage that comes up the stud. all the motors of this series have it . thats what feeds the head w oil.
