Dealerships often install them on any bike that they sell or put on their showroom floor, sounds like yours did.

thats what i was thinking, they do have to install the battery on delivery.

It costs them..... what $2? It is a small thing that pays dividends by raising the likelihood of a continued relationship with the customer. pretty smart.

It also makes it easier for the dealership to maintain batteries on any inventory in their possession that isn't moving quickly.

wish they told me battery terminals difficult to get to. Installed Honda oem front rack and center carrier frt rack has flanges on either side with 2 threaded inserts no mention in insructions what is purpose can they be used for aux lights ?

Those are mounting points for the OEM accessory windshield that is not offered in the USA, but can still be purchased online internationally.

Honda front rack extra mounting plates?

Does anyone have any ideas about the mounting brackets on the side of the Honda brand front rack?
