Bent Rear Break Lever

hello! I am sooo in love with this amazing little machine... I'm constantly scanning the road sides for any unmarked dirt and gravel road, and having the best time trundling about. 🐐😇

I have taken a few spills, and though it breaks my heart a bit... I'm pretty confident this thing can handle it's share of knocks. I did manage to bend the rear break lever, and it is somewhat jammed now. I want to remove the lever from the bike and bend it back into shape, but am still a long way from getting a service manual... if they ever come back in stock.

Does anyone out there have the service manual, and would you mind posting pictures of the pages regarding the lever removal?!

Thanks for your time!

Attached is also the CT125 manual insert for the same location. You will require a new cotter pin. Honda does have a part number for it but if a non-Honda 2.0x12 pin fits, it will work.
PIN, COTTER (2.0X12)
P/N 94201-20120

In terms of online references, this is a combination of two Fiche's from Revzilla.
The first is the Pedal / Kickstarter fiche.
The second is the rear master brake cylinder fiche.

Should you lose, snap or break anything along the way, those will be the references you need to look at to find the replacement part.

wow SneakyDingo... I can't believe I never new about this aspect of Revzilla's site!!! I've been using them for years, and never known about this! I may forgo the service manual all together.

thanks again!

The link to bookmark is this one: https://www.revzilla.com/oem/honda/2021-honda-trail-125-abs

Those images require a bit of a trick to downloading them too, but as a quick reference it's not too bad. The service manual is very handy, but my recommendation is wait a bit, ask for people to upload the sections you care about, and if you find that you're getting a lot of value out of those photos, then buy it yourself. That's how we would have used a library back in the day anyway.
