Best Crate?

Although my CT has not arrived with me in the UK yet I have already bought the crate! I did some research and looked for the best crate. Many favour Big Ant I think and there are plenty of others, but I finally ordered this one from Japan:-

It folds completely flat when not in use and has a locking lid when up. Very sturdy. 50 litres too! Great colours and graphics. I have gone for this colour to go with my green CT.

What do you think.

Any challengers?!

Unfortunately yes, but only £20 or so. It came from Japan really quickly though and is a great piece of kit.

At almost four times what a Big Ant costs.....hard pass. 😲 It really doesn't matter what I think as long as it works for you.

I have it at home now (no bike yet!) and it surely is a nice piece of kit. Expensive, as commented above, but an expensive cheap thing if you know what I mean, and after shelling out for the CT itself it hardly registers. Nice to have a lid too.

Yes, very neat. Then you can strap a bag on etc. or it is just out of the way when not needed. Lots of funky colours available. It is also quite weather resistant.

The best crate is the one that makes you happy. I think that one will make you very happy. I went with the Packout plate + custom mounting solution and I regret nothing except the moments when I don't have my big crate with me and I need to make a stop. I have been toying with the idea of 3D printing some feet for one of the folding crates from my local store & making a Packout compatible folding crate for those moments.
