Has anyone fitted a short dog leg front brake lever? I'd like to try fitting one as I like to ride covering the front brake with a couple of fingers and I'm finding that the standard set up doesn't fit my smaller sized hands.

I have one mounted on mine. I sometimes carry the stock one with me as a spare just in case.

I installed the CRG RC2 shorty brake lever on mine and it works great. 6-levels of adjustment for distance from the grips. Has a replaceable delrin tip, in case you scuff up the lever from the side or drop the bike. I always brake with only my middle and ring fingers, so the shorter lever works well and gets rid of the extra unused length.

Is P234860 the correct model number? Looks great.

For Pazzo you can order an individual lever from here: https://www.pazzoracing.com/build_lever.html
Select the options for a Honda Grom, and when presented with a prompt for "PAZZO Type of lever required" select Brake only. The brake lever part number should be F-25

For CRG this one should fit, but do your own research to confirm as I haven't fitted it:

The Pazzo says its lever is for brake or clutch is that correct.

You would need to select "brake only" from the drop down menu since you only need the brake lever which is part number F-25.

Yep, can confirm - that's the part # I ordered and it fits.

Revzilla doesn't seem to have the Trail as an option in the drop down menus for confirming compatibility on this lever, but it has worked for me regardless

you guys realize the brake levers swap with groms.. right? theres a bunch of options for wayyyy less that do the same thing. 200 bucks for a brake lever is silly. thats like rizoma territory. grom/trail/supercub levers swap.

The CRG ones are $119.95, other brands like ASV Inventions run $110. Below that price point you need to be cautious of very cheap quality no-name ones that tend to wear into having a notchy feel or have their anodizing quickly fade. Best to look for reviews on any of them you haven't run before.

been running them for years. no issues, just tighten the bolts and lubricate them when you ge them and no issues, i've gotten 10 years + out of them on various bikes, for the 'shitty' $24 dollar levers. just make sure you get the 'double shear' lever ones. like these.

by that, that the lever has the bolt going all the way thru the lever. see circled part.

I'm sure others would appreciate a link to one of those that has held up well as a cheaper option.
