Exhaust painting

I didn't sand mine...just degreased it well...then prime and paint...holding up quite well...

I scuffed mine with a green scrubby pad, wiped with acetone, painted with Rustoleum engine paint, and placed in wife's over for about an hour at 300 degrees...

another option is caliper paint, ive used it on other motorcycle exhausts and it holds up fantastic.

I was going to say caliper paint holds up to about anything.
