I hit 61 mph on 13 tooth front sprocket with 3/0 244's and had to back off the throttle 143cc BBK ,150 injector, and had Marvel Mystery in fuel. 1486 miles on BBK. That is all I believe I need on this frame.

Which kit and injector? And to confirm, no pipe, intake, ecu, or that EFIE thing?I hit 61 mph on 13 tooth front sprocket with 3/0 244's and had to back off the throttle 143cc BBK ,150 injector, and had Marvel Mystery in fuel. 1486 miles on BBK. That is all I believe I need on this frame.
,Good point ! Remove and clean O2 sensor as well as map sensor ,and change plug, check intake and exhaust before extensive diagnosis if not running great. Perhaps after X many miles. I can't think of everything by myself. Give it fresh fuel also.I would be careful with running Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel, if the CT were carbureted it wouldn't be an issue, but over time you run a risk of fouling the o2 sensor used by the PGM-FI system.
Two hours away. Go to interstate 40,get on I 81 to other side of Bristol. # 252 -424 -2057 phone. Will send you a map of area to ride away from cars and best ride in US according to experts. Damascus hwy 58 to hwy 16. Bristol to Shady Valley hwy 421,and Shady Valley to Mountain City, Do not plan a return trip after you discover it. Do it when you come up. All in a loop, and more than you can do in weeks leaving from house. Best time of year ! Give the social event a day,and spend the rest of your time in the most valuable manner. You will stay longer than you planned.I think many of these bikes that see road use get an "Italian tune-up" all the time. Have to ride at or near wide open throttle to not get run over
Glad it is working for you, and more important, working reliably!
Not super close to your area of Virginia, but I hope to be at the Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley, NC September 10th with the Motorcycle Cannonball event. Plan is to be there on my Honda Trail but it's not a sure thing, just my luck had to have surgery on my throttle and brake hand today less than 2 weeks before the trip. If you're interested it might be worth the ride or the drive to see so many antique bikes on the road. Many of the pre-1933 motorcycles from the event will also be running Marvel Mystery Oil in their fuel.
If I were traveling on my own I sure would spend more time exploring, but this time around I'm just passing through with a group and have an itinerary to follow. I do appreciate it though. Figured I'd mention the event in case you were interested since it's in your general area and I plan on having my Honda Trail there. Two hours away. I was there about two years ago. I think the Sutton's controlled the locally produced beverage industry when sourcing was a quest, due to regulations hindering the supplying of the demand ,made doing so profitable. Then it became a place to take the kids decades ago. It is a nice place, but a few miles away, and the traffic is stressful on the interstate. Time of day,and day of the week should be considered,as a 60 minute wait before departing,or leaving the same amount earlier, might make a big difference. It only takes one idiot! If I were traveling on my own I sure would spend more time exploring, but this time around I'm just passing through with a group and have an itinerary to follow. I was not going downhill,I am running Shinko 3/0 tires front and rear,it just runs that well. I do not believe it is normal, and can think of a few things I did wrong that might be an explanation. It absolutely will go over 60 mph on flat ground at 2000 ft elevation. Not a speedo error, nor am I mistaken. I absolutely have to back off the throttle. Two things I did wrong, over gap both rings,so I put them 180 degrees apart. Hooked up battery backwards, Surprised I did not fry ECU . Crank case breather not going to intake, removed restriction in aftermarket exhaust,no cat. KN type filter, with snorkel moved to the side. Wheels and chain spin on center stand freely/smooth. Tires? RideON balancer?61 with a 13t? you have a speedometer corrector or aftermarket gauge? because that seems unlikely unless its a BIG hill
Yuminashi 143 cc with 238 cam. 150 Honda injector,Stainless exhaust from WeBike,no cat. BBK was about 256 bucks delivered. Exhaust was 300 bucks. I Have an A'PLus lift now,and If you wanna do it, I will help you, but having done it once makes it smooth vs struggle. Having a lift makes a world of difference.Which kit and injector? And to confirm, no pipe, intake, ecu, or that EFIE thing?
No EFIE. The ECU can make the corrections on a 143cc upgrade with a 140 cc injector. I put the Honda 150 injector in it. Yuminashi states this on their website. I watched Hard Racing video on BBK on the GROM. I don't see any point in going bigger, get a bigger bike if it isn't enough. I am telling you,it actually makes it worth the expense of the bike plus additional cost of upgrade worth it. It really sucked before. Now ,for where I live, and the twistiest roads in the US, I actually would rather ride it than my KTM 390 ADV ,or DR 200 on these roads.Which kit and injector? I am backing off the throttle. So ,? someone is obviously incorrect. You are not far from here. I invited you once already. When the leaves change would be a good time to get a couple hundredall im saying is that you might want to verify it with a gps. gearing commander lists the top speed on a stock geared bike at 7500 rpm is under 60 mph, and ~54 mph with a 13 but stock tires. My speedo has been dead on accurate from day 1, gps checked, but that's just been my experience (or i would have fit a speedometer corrector).
