Hi Everyone, stoked to be part of the community!

I picked up a Trail a few weeks ago in North Carolina and then spent a week riding the NC back roads before I had to head back to Canada. There is still snow on the ground up here but I am hoping to make another trip back to NC to do some more riding before spring / summer breaks out up here.

The ultimate goal is for my brother and I to camp and explore the off-road trails around the US and Canada, so I am looking forward to leveraging the collective knowledge of this community!

That is awesome! Glad you got to enjoy some riding before heading to the cold again.

Thanks for the warm welcome @Shoot870p and @SneakyDingo !

@Carolina Vagabond my brother lives in Catawba county west of Statesville, east of Hickory, so we do most of our (at least for now) around there. What about you? What part of the state are you in? And can you suggest some good trails?

I’m in Troy which is in central NC, just south of Asheboro. We have the Uwharrie National Forest that has miles of unpaved roads as well as many trails for off road vehicles (ORV) but you can forget any quiet, peaceful rides on the weekends. Once people discovered this place several years ago the traffic on the main NF land became terrible.
There are many miles of public dirt roads in my county (Montgomery). Most of the county is rural so there are also many miles of twisty country roads. You just have to look out for deer, turkeys, and the stray cow....
