Heavier flywheel

Just a thought in performance upgrades. Wouldn't a heaver flywheel help in Torque output ? And in vibration the 125 inherantly has especially with big bore kits.

absolutely not. it will just cause it to spin up slower and maintain engine speed between shifts. i actually reduced the weight of mine when i replaced the clutch with a manual one. lathed 12mm off of it. on 2 stroke dirt bikes, i have added weight to help keep the rps up between shifts but it does nothing to 'increase torque'.

I added heavier discs to the TW when I swapped out the clutch and it did help with maintaining RPM's while shifting but the clutch is a little different design then the auto shift of the Trail and the higher RPM's would make shifting a little trickier.
