Hi everyone, my first post here since I bought my new CT125 two months ago. I live in Kobe, Japan, and I've graduated to the CT125 via a CT110 and Cub Pro 50 (J. market newspaper delivery bike with huge rear rack & front basket). Love all Cubs, but especially the CT125, it's just a brilliant little bike. Anyway, could anyone tell me what these are for?? Thanks in advance.

It’s for directing gasoline overflow, those ridges are probably to slow the flow so large amounts of gas don’t go splashing around

Thanks. Makes sense especially when it's on the side stand, I'm just amazed how well designed this small detail is. I always fill on the centre stand when it's not so apparent.

I use gas out of a can since the ethanol free is too far through the city to take the trail, about 4 miles of 65mph. I generally forget how quick the last little bit fills and overflows and do it each time. Way better too drain the extra out the tube then all over the side like the 90.
