Hello from NW AZ

Have been casually looking since they came stateside and finally picked up a 2022 yesterday in Parker AZ.

Haven't had a two-wheeler in a while.
Previous bikes: DR350, KLR650, XT350s, street bikes...there was a 1970 CT90 in there somewhere.

Plan to commute maybe once/week and outfit it for bird hunting.
Thinking Wald giant rack and horizontal scabbard on left side.

My big, yellow, full face, visored dual-sport helmet seems like overkill.
Looking at the "fuller coverage" MIPS MTB helmets.

Probably be about 90% forest roads/trails and 10% pavement.

Looking forward to browsing the site for ideas and welcome everyone's input.

There's an endurance rod case that might be of interest to you. But the ol' PVC piping on the back right might do the trick just fine. Be warned that the toolbox mount is on the weak side if you're thinking of mounting it there, prone to cracking and the like. You can either reinforce it or bolt it to the rack itself as two ways to get around the issue.

Hey that rod case is pretty snazzy. I'll look for more pictures.
I'll need some padding for the scattergun so PVC might end up huge to accommodate.
It may be possible to adapt the Kolpin gun boot from my ATV but it is an awkward beast.

Hey Sgt, how goes the install?
I have taken apart my Kolpin GunBoot IV mount from my ATV and may be able to cob something together.
Going to Home Depot for some hardware this morning.
