High/Low range

The old CT90/110’s … some years had the high/low range option and some years didn’t. The 1980 110’s didn’t have this option when first released. Later years did. I wonder if this might become an option again for Gen3 ? Certainly solves the need to be swapping out sprockets. Just a random thought I thought I’d throw out.

Honda just did an engine refresh and didn't include it, so I wouldn't hold your breath for a hi-low sub-transmission. Features are often not added or just withheld from some models as a selling point for another model, and to manage costs for the lower priced models. I imagine Honda would rather sell a proper dual sport bike to someone who needs to slow crawl trails and also hit highway speeds.
