Honda front rack extra mounting plates?

Does anyone have any ideas about the mounting brackets on the side of the Honda brand front rack?

There is a windshield accessory that can be attached to those points. It is available in Canada and Japan, for the USA you can ask your dealer if they can get it or buy it online with international shipping.

Once again a Big Thank You to dmonkey..
I ordered the same oem rack and also wondered what these mounting point's were for..
Now we know..
This rack is heavy duty and fit like a glove..
I like that it's not overly big, yet give's you some protection for the headlight and gauge cluster..

I am loving the OEM front rack as well. If you install a USB charger in the meter stay location provided you'll likely have to create a bit of relief for it to fit. 30 seconds with a dremel sanding bit and that's all it takes.

Anyone know if the OEM windscreen will become an official US market accessory? I think I read somewhere it is acrylic and NOT polycarbonate. Might not be able to get DOT approval?

The only confirmation of accessories from American Honda I've seen so far was "the Front Carrier and Center Carrier accessories will be available in the U.S." which they commented on the 2023 CT125 USA announcement on Instagram.

It's not currently listed in the US OEM Accessories for the CT125. Easy enough to get though should you want one. I am considering it but I am not sure that I really "need" it or care for the look.

I was able to order a windshield and the attachment rack from WeBike, and the rack and windshield came in two weeks.
