Picked up this 25 scooter for my wife to ride, Zero experience with these although I did have a 22 navi for awhile and I thought it great for the cost. So any Metropolitan owners here? Did not bring it home as there's a current recall that needed checked.

I've never had one but have always liked them. If the girl in my life was remotely interested in riding anything with two wheels I'd have one for her.

So far my wife has tried every minimoto and hated it, she ran her Navi into a large gully in a campground in Custer, wouldn't touch it after that, so fingers crossed. She either gonna ride it or someone getting a great deal on a new scooter 😁

I hear that! I'm glad your wife didn't get injured! Several years ago my GF crashed a Grom I used to own into the planter outside my house. 25 Stitches in her left leg later the appeal of learning how to ride a MC has left her. She doesn't like me riding them but knows better then to tell me not to, though she's not opposed to finding a reason why I can't ride a bike to her house at the last minute. Such as "Bring your laundry when you come over and I'll do it for you." Or my personal favorite, "Could you bring your rake over? I don't know where mine is." Joke was on her, my rake has a removable handle LOL!

On a more serious note I will say that in what feels like a previous life my then-wife and I rode MC's together and those rides were generally pretty good. Probably because it's too hard to argue when you're wearing a helmet :D

I've never owned one, but they are easier on the eyes than a lot of other 50cc scoots on the market. The latest ones (NCW50 model) are sold as a Giorno in Japan which reflects the Italian scooter styling. They're marketed as "fashion scooters" and there have been some great color options.

With her she wants to ride, but the moment she gets a scare or falls she is done, then after a time off she talks herself into trying again. We'll see how bad she wants it this time I guess.
