Tried to order OEM windscreen from Webike and got a notice of a 4 month delay. Searched for other sources and came up empty. I have the OEM front rack installed. Anyone know a source? Thanks

One option that would be quicker than 4 months but more expensive than buying through Webike is that you can buy it off Yahoo Shopping or Rakuten Japan. I have done that for some other parts before using Buyee as the proxy service. They buy the part, have it shipped to them, then ship it to you in the USA. It ends up being expensive because you're paying for their proxy service, there's two shipments to pay for, and if a tariff is applicable they don't collect it up front, you end up paying it when the final shipment occurs. Last time I did this it took 5 weeks from purchasing a Yahoo Shopping/Auctions listing in Japan to having it delivered to me by DHL in the USA.

Personally I would only really recommend that option if you're in a pinch or it's a part that isn't going to be availlable in the USA. For the windscreen, hopefully someone lists one on eBay or this forum where you can snag it. If Webike will let you place an order on the backordered item you can do that, and just remember to cancel it if you find the windscreen elsewhere first.

Thanks for the info but it sounds way too complicated. I'll deal with with wind in my face. Cheers
