After just recovering from Rotator Cuff Surgery, I'm now exploring the CT125 I bought in early August. It now has almost 700 miles on it. The gas mileage has been really consistent. Last three tanks were 110.32, 109.83, & 109.68 miles per gallon, so let's just say 110 MPG. This weekend I wanted to see how far I could go before running out of gas. I had a full 30 oz MSR fuel bottle and the bike started to sputter at 151.7 miles. I stopped, dumped in the 30 oz of extra gas, and made my way to a local gas station. I pulled up to the pump and reached for my wallet which wasn't in my pants pocket (I later discovered was in my shorts hanging on the clothes tree in my bedroom). I had already gone 10 miles on the extra 30 oz and home was only 15 miles away. I had guessed 1 mile per ounce which should have got me to my home. I was wrong. The 30 oz of gas lasted for almost exactly 20 miles. Luckily, I had a gas jug at home and a really understanding wife. She was there within 15 minutes rescuing me and the 125. Lessons Learned: Top off no later than 125 miles, double check for your wallet and cell phone, and 30 oz MSR Fuel Bottle only extends the range 20 miles at 50 mph and 200-300 ft elevation changes.

I dunno if this helps, but I have a fuel tracking dashboard and have tracked every oz of fuel I've put in the bike for the last 11,600 mi. Things get wonky when you're using fuel canisters on such a fuel efficient bike but you can get a pretty good long term look at things by tracking that level of detail.

TL,DR from the 10,000 mi view of the bike? Count on having about 20 miles of range once the indicator starts blinking, and after that it's hopes and prayers territory. With SR244's under commute conditions, which kills the fuel economy compared to the GP-5s, I'm still getting 92 MPG when running wide open throttle and around 104 MPG under commute conditions. That translates to seeing 115 mi or so before the blinky fuel indicator comes on, and a DTE of 145 mi before the pickup is sucking fumes (using a 1.4 gal estimate). And that's with a fat rider riding on hills and roadway at around 35-40 mph using off road tires, so not the greatest for MPG.

Despite this, the max I've ever filled as 1.283 gal for 134 mi between refills, and at some point @QuantiQualification showed the tank is slightly larger than 1.4 gal if you give it a little shake while filling it - I don't recommend this unless you're about to do at least 20 miles of riding, but you can squeeze in a little more that way.
