Luggage Rack Bar Behind Seat... Ouch!

Cut it off. Easy and takes a couple of minutes. Save it. Can be welded back on if someone wanted to.
If I were going to weld it back on (I am not) I would place it at the back of the rack like the vintage Trails were.

Cut it off don’t waist your time and money…it solves the problem…trust me

This is what I did cost me 12 bucks off tuma this rear seat after cutting off grap bar get rid of that grab bar

Cut off that stupid handle, that’s the ticket solves all problems
Update bought a Harley rear seat off tumu 12 bucks with shipping solved all problems

Update bought a Harley rear seat off tumu 12 bucks with shipping solved all problems
This is my whole set up…cost me 12 bucks for the seat and 7 bucks for the milk crate I had the small cooler storage…don’t spend lots of money on aftermarket products..

The bar behind the seat is what I grab to lift the bike onto the parking stand. It’s also great for pulling the bike out of a mud hole. I'm 6’2” and it reminds me to keep my tailbone tucked under.

Well you don’t need that bar, I’ve never used it put the stand down grab the handle bars and pull back , the bike is like 250 lb …it’s not rocket science…bottom line cut that handle off…trust me it’s the best thing you can do to that bike….the 90-110 never had that bar they had it located at the rear of the rack…..

Yeah, pulling on the handlebars works just fine. Looks like you got the same seat I got! I built a little box under mine to elevate it flush with the factory seat.
